When I’m not teaching Pilates: Hanging out with my daughter Ella, working out, laughing with humans and community, traveling, being of service, life learner, and lover.

Guilty Pleasure: Pizza, Wine, Scooters.

Certifications: Mater Pilates Instructor “Lolita San Miguel Legacy”, PMA, EFI sports medicine, Chinese Medicine, Stott Reformer/Matt and CPR.

Before Pilates One: Marketing manager for Bal Harbour Shops, with a background in fashion design and merchandising.

Favorite Exercise: Tendon Stretch.

When I’m not teaching Pilates: I’m with my family, my twin toddlers and husband…preferably beachside!​

Guilty Pleasure: Spa days, wine, and frozen desserts.

Before Pilates One: I worked in sales & marketing. Pilates was my main form of exercise and stress relief. After getting through grad school, I was ready for a career change. When I completed my first training and began teaching fitness classes on the side, I realized I could make a career out of doing something I love.

Favorite Exercise:short spine massage

When I’m not teaching Pilates: I love going out to eat, spending time with my dog, binging tv shows on my couch, and repping FP Movement is my other job.

Before Pilates One: I went to UM and graduated in May 2023 with a politica science degree but way before I graduated, I felt a little lost on what to pursue next. That’s when I found mysef turning to Pilates and started my journey in becoming an instructor!

Favorite Exercise: The semicircle or different plank series on the Reformer

When I’m not teaching Pilates: I love to practice Pilates or barre & spend time with my family and friends!

Why Pilates? I love how it focuses on having a strong mind-body connection because over time, I realized, your mind is what stops you from doing many things that your body is actually capable of. I love the precision and control needed to do Pilates. I did ballet all my life and found that Pilates gives me the same happy feeling!

Certifications: 500 Hours comprehensive through Club Pilates

Before Pilates One: With a background in art, dance, and holistic bodywork, I have taught Pilates for over 20 years, mentored with Polestar Education in Miami, and contributed to studios in Jamaica and Spain. My current focus is private teaching and the study of Gyrokinesis® and the Gyrotonic Expansion System®, rooted in mindful movement.

Favorite exercise: Rowing Series, Semicircle, Cleopatra

When I’m not teaching Pilates: Teaching Pilates is truly a way of life for me. Outside the studio, I enjoy meditation, time in the sun and nature, practicing Gyrotonic® or Pilates, cooking, and spending quality time with my husband and friends—ending the day, when I can, with a good movie or series.

Certifications: Comprehensive Pilates Certification (Polestar Pilates & Physical Therapy), Nationally Certified Pilates Teacher, Gyrotonic® & Gyrokinesis® Instructor, Zen Shiatsu Therapist. BFA, Fine Arts.

Before Pilates One: I have a background in retail sales and styling specifically at fashion tech startups in New York City., where I lived for 8 years. My husband and I started a SPF company in May of 2021 called Bask Suncare 🙂 and we recently moved to Miami about a year and a half ago with our 3 year old son.

Favorite Exercise: Tie between side lying leg in strap, and star

When I’m not teaching Pilates: I love experiencing new restaurants, and activities in the Grove/Miami, beach days with friends and family, traveling, reading a good book, and ending the day with a glass of red wine 🙂

Certifications: New York Pilates 500 hour teacher training program, including mat, Reformer, cadillac, chair, and barrels

Before Pilates One: Teacher in Montessori and worked in the family business.

Favorite exercise: Short spine massage and snake and twist.

When I’m not teaching Pilates: I am out having dinner with my friends having a spicy skinny margarita with tequila, movies, brunch, pool days and working out.

When I’m not teaching Pilates: I’m sewing and looking into getting a masters in mental health counseling.

Certification: teacher comprehensive training at Pilates in the Grove.

Before Pilates One: She was a high school student in her hometown and taught Pilates locally.

Favorite Exercise: Backstroke.

When she's not teaching Pilates: Taking classes at UMiami, traveling, working out, and hanging out with friends.
